Dear Stone Creek Swim Families,

Another year is upon us, and we hope that all of our families have been safe through this ongoing pandemic. As we prepare to embark on another NWAL Season, we look forward to the return of our swimmers with their bright and shiny faces, and hopefully the continued Success in the water that we have experienced over the last three Seasons. We would like to inform you that Registration for the new season is now open and can be done online at: https://stonecreekstingrays.swimtopia.com/.

As you are aware, 2021 was a unique year with a vast array of challenges that included a shortened meet schedule, many health, and safety concerns that closed many of our area teams down. We persevered through, coming out again at the top of our division. Most if not all of our athletes had stellar performances, both during the Season, and at the Post Season Invitationals where the growth was eminent amongst our swimmers. Our Board, the Coaching staff, and you, our parents should still be extremely proud of these performances.

Many of those families that found themselves without a home team, found a home with STC, due to their prior teams choosing to make a decision of not having a NWAL Swim Team for 2021. STC was one of the few teams in NWAL to step up, and welcome those displaced swimmers. We did our best to accommodate, and embraced you, and you became just as much a part of our family, as our returning swimmers and new swimmers. We want you to know that you are still family, and while we understand that some will have a feeling like their only choice this year is to go back to their former neighborhood team, we hope you will keep an open mind when making this decision, and make the decision that is best for your swimmers. Try to look at the experiences you had with each team, since it’s you that has the choice, and not your subdivision, or past team..

NWAL has paved the way by making it clear that swimmers will not be negatively impacted by this choice, since those neighborhoods made their own choice last year not to compete, and forced you to seek another team in order to be able to compete in NWAL. As a result of that decision, they will have to accept your decision. We would hope that you take everything into account and make the best decision for your swimmer. All we ask is that you inform us by the first week in April, so that if you choose to stay, it will allow us the proper time to submit the paperwork by the deadline on your behalf.

Your STC Board is already up and running, planning for a full season with Dual Meets, a Divisional Meet, Mid Season and PostSeason Invitationals. As a result of last year’s amazing performances by our athletes, and the prior two years performances where we went “Back to Back” with Undefeated Seasons, we have been moved up another few Divisions. Our performances over the last three seasons, has placed us amongst the upper tiers of NWAL, into the Top 8 Divisions, and into the  W4 Division.

We want you to know that your swimmers helped achieve this accomplishment. It will be even more challenging for us, competition will be fierce, but we are “Champions”, and we will rise to the occasion. We hope you will join us again this year, as we continue our rise, since as we say “We rule the Water ''. Come have some more fun with us, and help us continue our dominance in the water.
