Visiting Teams
Welcome to the home of the Stingrays!
We look forward to meeting your team in competition and would like to provide you the following information to help run a smooth and enjoyable meet.
- Our pool is an 8 lane, 25 yard pool with dive blocks on both ends. The majority of the races start from the 10 foot deep side, and wood blocks are moved into place from the 4 foot side for the 25 yard races so that the timers stay in place.
- Our ready bench for dual meets is in the inside gate by the splashpad. Please instruct your athletes to stay off of the play equipment both inside the splashpad and on the playground.
- We have an air conditioned community center for officials, coaches and computers. Athletes are asked to remain outside.
- Bathrooms are located right off the deck.
- Concessions are also available from the window open in the community building on the 4 foot side of the pool deck.
- Setup is as below-Please advise your families to stay off of the tennis courts.
Parking
- Is available for all families along the right hand side of the street next to the building. Please be advised that no parking can occur on the left hand side and that all traffic rules should be followed to ensure adequate distance around fire hydrants and stop signs.
- The small parking lot next to the tennis courts is reserved for coaches, officials and concessions. Handicapped parking is also available.
Arrival Time
- Visiting teams will have the second warmup beginning around 7:45 AM.
- Scratches and relay changes are due by 8:00 AM.
- Announcements will be made to call officials, Timers and Ready bench meetings generally around 8:10 AM.
- National anthem and Meet start will be around 8:30 AM.
Coaches
Our Head Coach:
- Visiting coaches can set up their tent next to STC's coaches tent, or along any side of the far end of the pool on the fence side of the pool deck behind the ropes for the officials. Just be mindful that on the shallow end of the pool there is an exit stair and we ask that your tent is setup 5-6 feet away from those stairs to prevent athletes from exiting the pool into your tent. This will also provide an adequate walkway for those coming from the ready bench to behind the blocks.
- We provide hospitality for coaches and officials. Please notify STC Head Coach or Team Representative the number of coaches you have in attendance.
