Stone Creek Swim Team, Inc.

The Stone Creek Stingray swim team is a volunteer based, not for profit organization centered upon changing the lives of our neighborhood children. By providing a summer activity focused on improving safety and raising commitment levels we instill a sense of pride in our neighborhoods and its residents. Our families and their swimmers help build our community, create camaraderie and bring us closer as citizens.

Our efforts are coordinated with over five hundred similar neighborhood teams who compete in the Greater Houston area from mid April through the end of June. Swimmers practice daily to prepare for dual competitions held each Saturday with the season culmination in both divisional competitions and invitational meets. 

While we are all one unit we group our team in two ways: Competitive and Non-Competitive. 

Swimmers who compete at Saturday meets, Invitational meets, and our Division Championship meet.

Standard registration applies.

Non-Competitive swimmers are the future of the team. This program allows us to cultivate younger siblings and friends who want to learn competitive swimming.

Our focus for this group is to have them competing by the 5th week of instruction or sooner. Each practice includes dry-land and and in-water instruction. Because we start mid April, the first week of practice is focused on dry-land activities where coaches teach students basic pool rules, proper stretching for warm ups, team chants, equipment, and prepare them for entering the water.

Modified Registration is required to participate in this group: Swimmers in this group pay a small one-time registration fee plus an initial fee for the first four weeks in the water working towards making it 25 yards across the pool unassisted.  Once done they join our competitive team.  After that four week period, if they still need more assistance they can continue on in the pup program for an additional fee.  Members of this group will still participate in team events, fundraisers, and special events (including our end-of-season banquet). Because this group does not start competing until they graduate many of our volunteer commitments are waived until the swimmer graduates to the competitive team. We understand sometimes life happens and despite registering with us to swim, unforeseen circumstances occur that prevent participation.  In order to protect all members, and continue to provide a quality experience for everyone, the Stonecreek Swim Team Board has established the following refund policy and procedures:  

Once registered and paid, refunds will only be given in the event that there is a significant medical issue or injury that prevents participation for the season, or there is a death in the family that does the same thing.  Refunds are issued for these reasons on the following sliding scale:
